Founded in 1912 and led by the Van der Sluis family, Tembo Group has been guided by the visionary leadership of Arend van der Sluis. In 2023, a new chapter began with Tim Slomp assuming the roles of CEO and Executive Board Chairman. While Arend van der Sluis and the other family members remain actively engaged in the extended and supervisory board roles, this transition has introduced a dynamic structure at Tembo Group. All committed to preserving the company's mission of innovation, excellence, and sustainability.
In addition to the CEO and Supervisory Boards, each company is led by a managing director who is supported by a management team. The day-to-day operations of each company within the group are overseen by its respective managing director. Additionally, each company has its own set of general terms and conditions, which align with the laws of the country in which it is established.
